Vapor Degreasing VS. Vacuum Vapor Degreasing

Vapor Degreasing VS. Vacuum Vapor Degreasing

Vapor Degreasing (VD) consists of applying heated vapors, solvent immersion, or combination per the defined process in an “open-top” system. The process is generally exposed to ambient atmosphere during operation.

Vacuum Vapor Degreasing (VVD) consists of applying multiple stages of heated solvent (vapors, sprays, and/or immersion) per the defined process in a sealed work chamber using vacuum technology. Final stage is vacuum drying to extract the solvent from work. The process is isolated from ambient atmosphere during operation.
